Inter Milan to face Barcelona in Champions League Tuesday

Inter Milan will take on Barcelona in a UEFA Champions League match in Italy's Milan on Tuesday, according to Anadolu Agency.

Second-place Barcelona and third-place Inter have 3 points each in two matches in Group C.

Inter lost to Germany's Bayern Munich 2-0 in the first week of the Champions League at Milan's San Siro Stadium and won against Czech opponents Viktoria Plzen 2-0 in an away match in the second week.

Meanwhile, Barcelona hammered Viktoria Plzen 5-1 in the first match at their home Camp Nou Stadium.

In the second week, Barcelona lost to host Bayern Munich 2-0.

In the Italian Serie A, Inter Milan appear to be in trouble as they lost to Roma 2-1 in a match at home on Saturday.


The Nerazzurri have 12 points to be in the ninth spot in Serie A.

However, Barcelona are leading the Spanish La Liga with 19 points. Barca last beat Mallorca 1-0 on Saturday.

The Inter vs. Barcelona match at San Siro will kick off at 1900 GMT.

Barcelona's Polish star Robert Lewandowski has so far scored 12 goals in nine matches since his summer move from Bayern Munich.

Meanwhile, Argentine forward Lautaro Martinez, 25, is Inter's highest scorer in the 2022-23 season with three goals.
