Parliamentary Secretary to Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada: Canada respects Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity within internationally recognized borders and its sovereignty

“Canada respects Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity within internationally recognized borders and its sovereignty,” said Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada, Member of the House of Commons of Canadian Parliament Robert Oliphant as he addressed the hearings on the situation on the Lachin-Khankandi road at the foreign affairs committee.

“We want to clearly state that Canada supports all UN Security Council resolutions on Karabakh. Canada respects Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity within internationally recognized borders and its sovereignty. As such, Canada does not recognize other entities within those borders,” Oliphant emphasized.
