    Uzbek Foreign Ministry issues statement regarding armed attack on Azerbaijan’s embassy in Tehran

    Baku, January 28, AZERTAC

    The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan has issued a statement regarding the armed attack on the embassy of Azerbaijan in Iran.

    “The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan strongly condemns the armed attack on the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Tehran that took place on January 27, 2023.

    We express our deepest condolences to the families of the deceased and wish a speedy recovery to the injured.

    We hope that all those responsible will be brought to justice following a thorough investigation of this incident,” the ministry said.
