Benjamin Netanyahu: Israel is interested in further developing cooperation with Azerbaijan

Israel is interested in further developing cooperation with Azerbaijan, said Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as he received Azerbaijan`s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu asked Jeyhun Bayramov to convey his greetings to President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. He recalled his visits to Azerbaijan and congratulated the FM on the opening of the Azerbaijani embassy in Israel.

Minister Jeyhun Bayramov recalled that the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries was celebrated last year, and emphasized that the establishment of the embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the State of Israel is a testament to the relations entering a new stage.

During the meeting, the sides also discussed the current state of and prospects for bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Israel, security, economic ties and various aspects of cooperation in other areas.
