30 AMERICAN TEACHERS ON WAY TO AZERBAIJAN

Within the next couple of weeks, 30 voluntaries of the American organization “Peace Corps” will arrive in Azerbaijan. They will live and teach in various regions of Azerbaijan, US embassy stated.

As noted, major purpose of the “Peace Corps” is to teach English to foreign citizens through voluntaries from USA who will live in Azerbaijani families and teach English to schoolchildren on local teacher’s rights.

Embassy representatives stressed that for the last decade the US Administration had assigned $40 million on the exchange program, which is an indication of attention paid by American leadership to Azerbaijan’s future.
