3rd World Conference of News Agencies to kick off Wednesday in Buenos Aires
Baku, October 18 (AZERTAC). The 3rd World Conference of News Agencies entitled `News Agencies in the 21st Century, Opportunities and Challenges` will start in the Argentine capital of Buenos Aires on Wednesday.
The Conference will discuss a number of topics on the development of cooperation between news agencies, promotion of fair competition among them, the roles of news agencies around the world, and prospects for development of the agencies` performance in the field of news exchange and training.
Participants in the conference include news agencies from Azerbaijan, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Qatar, Morocco, Jordan, Oman, Syria, Lebanon, Australia, Spain, France, Russia, Italy, India and Argentina; in addition to Reuters, The Associated Press, Telam Argentine Agency, and Nigerian NAN Agency ; as well as the European Union Organizations of News Agencies and the Organization of News Agencies of South-East Asia and the Pacific.
