5 killed, 30 injured in house fire in Guangxi village

Beijing, May 5, AZERTAC

A fire at a house in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region killed five people and injured 30 others on Sunday, according to local authorities, Xinhua reported.

The fire broke out around 6:00 a.m. in the village of Xilong in Guilin City, the regional capital.

The injured, including seven in serious conditions, have been taken to hospital for treatment.

An investigation is underway.
