60 PER CENT OF REPAIR WORK DONE IN AZERBAIJAN HYDROELECTRIC POWER STATION
So, the main field of operations now is focused on the power-generating unit No2 where complete overhaul is underway. It is expected that this work will be finished before late August resulting in increase in the unit’s output by 30-40 megawatt.
Major repair is finished in the unit No8, which has already been but into operation. The units No3 and No5 are also expected to be under minor repairs, whereupon the units will produce 15-20 megawatt more than before.
In all, 60 per cent of the total volume of repair work, which is supposed to be completed in mid October.
The measures undertaken will result in increase in output up to record figure of the last decade 2015 megawatt that will meet the winter fully armed, and provide the population of the Republic with uninterrupted electric energy supply.
