Baku-Budapest cargo connection begins

Budapest, March 11 (AZERTAC). The first flight of Silk Way Airlines arrived at Budapest’s Liszt Ferenc International Airport on Wednesday, where it was greeted by the customary water bolt from the airport’s fire squad. Silk Way Airlines’ cargo planes will fly twice-weekly from Baku, Azerbaijan, to either London or Frankfurt via Budapest, providing a direct connection to the Caucasus not only for Hungarian firms but regional companies too. The cargo airline is based at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Baku.
