AGRARIAN REFORMS PAVED WAY FOR ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT

Privatization of land, supplying farmers with machinery and property have paved the way for an increase in production of agricultural products in Beylagan province of Azerbaijan.

According to Executive authorities of Beylagan, agrarian reforms are being successfully implemented. Some 41 thousand hectares of tillable lands have been transferred to private ownership of 63 thousand 828 individuals. A 19,6 billion manat property of kolkhozes and sovkhozes has been privatized. Due to agrarian reforms, the grain production has doubled. Farmers, private landowners have yielded a rich harvest of potato, vegetables, fruits and melons.
