Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Azerbaijan Ahad Gazai gave an interview to the media representatives. The Ambassador, in particular, said:

“Last times I am concerned with dissemination of false information by “Seher-2” TV of Iran and non-friendly propaganda against the Republic of Azerbaijan. Of course, the propaganda and aired thoughts do not reflect position of the state. Iran, adhering its friendly position in the issue of sovereignty and state structure of Azerbaijan, has openly offered its support for several times. The Islamic republic of Iran has many times disclosed the necessity of strengthening and developing the friendly relations between two countries with common historical, cultural and religious roots. I express my regret on the happenings and state that the issue would seriously be studied and undertaken necessary measures.
