AMFA HELD THE MICRO CREDIT TRAINING FOR LOAN OFFICERS
The training course has covered the principles of successful micro credit delivery, characteristics of micro loans, introduction to financial analysis of micro enterprises, using ratios and cash flow projections, loan officer productivity, delinquency management and effective communication.
Taking into account the specifics of the NIS region, AMFA invited top-level professional trainer from Microfinance Centre in Poland. MFC is the leading membership-based resource center in CEE and the NIS. Its mission is to promote the development of a strong and sustainable micro-finance sector in order to increase access to financial services for low-income people, particularly micro-entrepreneurs. The MFC fulfills this mission by providing high quality training, consulting, research, legal and policy development services.
Azerbaijan Micro-finance Association (AMFA) has been established in Azerbaijan in December 19, 2001 with the purpose to strengthen the capacity of micro-finance institutions and support sustainable and equitable economic growth in Azerbaijan. Currently AMFA unites the following organizations: ADRA Credit, FINCA Azerbaijan, Mercy Corps Azerbaijan, Norwegian Credit, Viator (NHE), AzeriStar (Save the Children), Finance for Development (Oxfam GB), AzerCredit (World Vision), CredAgro (ACDI/VOCA), Nakhchivan Microfinance (IOM), Caucasus Credit (DRC), German-Azerbaijani Fund, Shore Bank Overseas and Micro Finance Bank of Azerbaijan.
