As the politician, as the statesman, as the head of Republic, Heydar Aliyev, certainly, was the leader of a world scale. But it should not close and his remarkable personal qualities. For my family, he was and remained the teacher, the person, whose nobleness, magnanimity and humanism will forever stay an inaccessible ideal. I think that should pass years that in our representation his sound image collected by separate fragments from his life and activity was generated. It is possible, and then we shall understand, what truly this unique person was.

Heydar Aliyev, much has made in the life. But, certainly, his main feat is service to the native Republic, Azerbaijani people. Even after him, he has left those beacons, which will help distressful people of Azerbaijan to achieve the world and calmness on the ground, live in conditions of well being and progress. I would like to add also that for me Heydar Aliyev's vital and political ways, ways and roads of the Russian-Azerbaijan friendship - are inseparable.

Therefore, this loss is common for the two peoples. And certainly, his ideals, true service to ideals of our friendship too will stay a beacon, a reference point for our states, for two our peoples ”.
