New monograph of the Secretary of Composers’ Union, Dr of Art, professor Ramiz Zohrab, titled “Theoretical basis of mughams” was published in the publishing house “Mars–Print”.
In his work, Ramiz Zohrab, who over 35 years researches historical and theoretical problems of Azerbaijani music, familiarizes readers with musical-theoretical basis of “Rast” dasgah.
Monograph is meant for musicologists, ethno-musicologists, performers and composers, as well as tutors and students of higher and secondary institutional educations.
