    AZERBAIJANI MUGHAM PERFORMERS TAKING PART IN FESTIVAL IN YALTA

    International Art Festival Yalta 2003 with the participation of musicians from 19 countries of the world rounded on September 21 in Yalta. At this festival Azerbaijan has been represented by mugham trio performers under the direction of honored artist Jeyran Hashimova. Performance of Azerbaijani mughamists was a great success. Trio was awarded with special diplomas of the Festival.

    On September 23, the Azerbaijani delegation guided by Chief of the Main Department of Arts of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Culture, honored art worker Aligismet Lalayev visited the Embassy of Azerbaijan to Ukraine.
