    AZERBAIJAN, CHINA DISCUSS COOPERATION IN BANKING SECTOR

    Baku, May 31 (AZERTAC). Chairman of Azerbaijan Central Bank Elman Rustamov has met governor of the People`s Bank of China Zhou Xiaochuan.

    They discussed the bilateral cooperation in banking sector.

    Xiaochuan highlighted financial reforms in China.

    Rustamov in turn informed the chief of the Chinese People`s Bank on Azerbaijan`s economic situation and banking sector.

    He stressed the importance of boosting cooperation between the Azerbaijani and Chinese central banks.

    Rustamov stressed “monetary resources and stability of the national currency create a reliable basis for deepening economic cooperation between our countries”.
