AZERBAIJAN, IRAN TO INCREASE POWER EXCHANGE VOLUME
To reach the energy exchange volume with a neighboring country up to 700 megawatt, will be laid 330-kwt-power transmission line of Ali Bairamly PS - Imishli, Imishli-Parsabad (second), 220-kwt line of Ali Baiyramly power station - Salyan, Salyan-Masally, Masally-Astara, and also will be built sub-station “Salyan” and expanded 4 substations. In the further, the republic will receive during winter season from Iran of the electric power of 400 megawatt. Besides, 150-megawatt energy will be delivered to Nakhchivan.
Now, construction of substations and equipment for modernization of transmission lines is underway. Iranian company “Tavanir” carries out the corresponding measures connected with lining of transmission lines in territory of the neighboring country.
It has to be noted that “Iran Ikhrajat Bank” will allocate the credit for realization of the project.
