AZERBAIJAN VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS SUCCESSFUL IN CONTESTS OF LEAGUE OF CHAMPIONS

In a starting match of League of Champions on volleyball among women, the Azerbaijani "Azerreyl” has met on a visit with Slovene "Noyva KBM Branic".

As is known, the last tournament sis not please the Azerbaijani volleyball players, and they have got on Russian "Uralochka”, the Italian "Modena" and Turkish "Eczachibashi", and, taken the third place, they did not manage to leave for the following stage of tournament.

This time the lots appeared more favorable to "Azerreyl". In the same group with our girls, was the Spanish "Hotel Kantur" (Las Palmas) and Slovene "Noyva KBM Б Branik".

As was informed at the press-service of the ministry of youth, sports and tourism, the match in Slovenia has passed under dictation of Azerbaijani nationals and they have won three sets. On January 27, "Azerreyl" on a visit meets with the Spanish team and on February 3 and 4 in Baku they will fight agai8nst "Noyva KBM Branik" and "Hotel Kantur".
