Abu Dhabi welcomed 10.27 million international visitors in 2018, with the emirate also posting figures showing incredible growth over the last three years, Department of Culture and Tourism said, according to Gulf News.
DCT Abu Dhabi said more than 10 million visitors came to the UAE capital last year, made up of both day-trippers and overnight guests, with the hotel guests increasing by 3.94 per cent compared to 2017 at one of the emirate`s 168 hotels or hotel apartments.
The first universal museum in the region attracted more than 1 million visitors in its first year and put Abu Dhabi on the world`s `cultural map`. The cruise sector provided more than 350,000 visitors to the emirate in 2018.
