Argentinean culture and tourism potential introduced in Baku
Baku, April 2 (AZERTAC). A presentation ceremony dedicated to Argentinean culture and tourism potential has today been held in Baku.
Speaking at the event, Argentina’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan Carlos Dante Riva praised the current level of the bilateral relations between the two countries.
The Ambassador said the two countries were boosting their ties in cultural, economic and many other areas. He added relations between Azerbaijan and Argentina had grown since the two embassies had been launched in both countries.
Carlos Dante Riva said despite a big geographical distance between these two countries new direct flights would be opened soon. The Ambassador pointed out that both nations are hospitable, adding new direct flights would further expand the relations between these two countries.
The Ambassador stressed the importance of improving relations in the cultural sphere, adding these events will bolster the partnership.
Official of Argentina’s Tourism Ministry Rudolph Millesi gave detailed information in his presentation about the country’s national culture, cuisine and nature.
Argentinean Tango dance was performed during the event.
Argentinean delegation is in the capital to attend the 13th Azerbaijan International Travel and Tourism Fair, AITF 2014, which traditionally opens the summer tourist season in the country and will take place from 3 to 5 April in the exhibition complex of Baku Expo Centre.
There will be 23 stands showcasing national and regional expositions: France, Italy, Malaysia, Montenegro, Hungary, Indonesia, Georgia, Bulgaria, Morocco, the Dominican Republic, Argentina, India, Mauritius, Turkey, Slovenia, Greece, the Czech Republic, Thailand, China, Egypt, Azerbaijan, the Stavropol Region, the Department of Tourism of Sochi and the Department of Tourism of Zagreb.
