Azerbaijan, Austria discuss cooperation

Azerbaijan`s Prime Minister Artur Rasizade has met a delegation led by Austrian Federal Minister of Families and Youth Sophie Karmasin.

The Premier said reciprocal visits had a positive influence in development of relations, stressed the importance of further boosting bonds between the two countries.

He said there is legal base and comprehensive condition for expanding cooperation in the non-oil, tourism, humanitarian fields. The Premier also touched upon the measures taken by the Azerbaijani Government in the field of ensuring the gender equality.

He provided an insight into the cause and consequences of the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Sophie Karmasin, in turn, said they are interested in boosting cooperation with Azerbaijan. She also noted Austria supports peaceful settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

They exchanged views over the issues on strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
