Azerbaijan, Iran to ink deal on cooperation in ICT and postal services areas

Baku, November 8 AZERTAC

Azerbaijan and Iran will sign a deal that will see the two countries cooperate in the fields of information and communication technologies and postal services.

Agreement was reached as Azerbaijan`s Minister of Information and High Technologies Ali Abbasov has met his Iranian counterpart Mahmoud Vaezi in Baku.

Mr. Abbasov said there was good potential for developing the bilateral cooperation in the ICT sector.

Mr. Vaezi stressed the importance of meetings of the Iranian and Azerbaijani presidents in terms of the development of relations.

He praised the two countries` ties in political, economic and humanitarian fields.
