Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan stress importance of strengthening bilateral ties

Azerbaijan`s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has met with Kyrgyz counterpart Chingiz Aidarbekov on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.

The sides discussed the existing cooperation between Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan and stressed the importance of further strengthening the bilateral ties on all fronts.

The FMs touching upon the issues of cooperation within the Cooperation Council of Turkic-Speaking States (the Turkic Council) noted the significance of further developing the relations among the member states in economic, trade, and tourism spheres and exchanged views over the preparatory works for the upcoming Summit meeting of the Turkic Council.

They also discussed regional issues, as well as other issues of mutual interest.
