Azerbaijan, Pakistan discuss educational cooperation

Azerbaijan`s ambassador to Pakistan Ali Alizade has met with Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training, Chairperson of the Pakistan National Commission for UNESCO Muhammad Baligh Ur Rehman to discuss cooperation in the field of education.
They highlighted the two countries` mutual support within international and regional organizations and the heads of state`s efforts to develop Azerbaijan-Pakistan relations, and also underlined the importance of implementing projects in the education sector.
The ambassador said that the number of Pakistani students studying in Azerbaijan is increasing year by year. Alizade noted that this year five Pakistani students will pay a one-week trip to Azerbaijan to acquaint with history and culture of the country. “Azerbaijani students and specialists also have trainings in the educational institutions of Pakistan,” Alizade added.
Baligh Ur Rehman spoke of his visits to Azerbaijan and hailed the country`s achievements. The minister stressed the necessity of developing friendly relations even more. He said that Pakistan is always ready to receive Azerbaijani students and support projects in the field of education.
