Baku, March 1 (AZERTAC). Vice-President of Azerbaijan State Oil Company, SOCAR Elshad Nasirov has met Pakistani delegation led by deputy chairman of the country`s Senate Mir Jan Jamali.

Nasirov briefed the delegation on the accomplishments achieved in Azerbaijan. He praised the fact that Pakistan had always supported Azerbaijan`s position within international organizations.

The Vice-President also said relationship between Azerbaijan and Pakistan is developing rapidly in all spheres, particularly economic one. He also spoke of major international projects carried out by SOCAR.

For his part, Mir Jan Jamali said Pakistan is very happy with Azerbaijan`s comprehensive achievements. He said there are great opportunities to develop energy cooperation between Azerbaijan and Pakistan.

They also noted expansion of relations between SOCAR and Pakistan would be useful for both sides.
