Azerbaijan, Pakistan discuss ways of expanding cooperation

Islamabad, April 18, AZERTAC

Azerbaijani ambassador in Islamabad Ali Alizade has met with Pakistani Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training Shafqat Mahmood to discuss ways of expanding cooperation between the two countries in various fields.

The two hailed mutual support of Azerbaijan and Pakistan within international and regional organizations and stressed the importance of joint projects and reciprocal visits.

Mahmood emphasized Azerbaijan's rapid development in all areas.

The ambassador highlighted Armenia's policy of aggression against Azerbaijan and occupation of Nagorno-Karabakh and its surrounding regions.

Alizade also provided an insight into the teaching of Urdu at Baku State University. He noted Azerbaijani students` interest in studying at Pakistani universities.
