Azerbaijan-Switzerland visa facilitation agreement comes into force
Baku, March 31, AZERTAC
An agreement between the Government of Azerbaijan and Switzerland on the facilitation of the issuance of visas will come into force on April 1, 2017.
The agreement which was signed by Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmar Mammadyarov and Federal Councillor Didier Burkhalter provides a simplified procedure for issuance of long term multiple-entry visas for a number of individuals.
After the ratification of these Agreements, persons holding diplomatic and service passports of the two countries will be exempt from the visas and the issuance of visas for persons from other categories will be facilitated.
