Azerbaijan attends CANSO Executive Summit 2023

Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) and “Azeraeronavigation” Air Traffic Department (AZANS) have participated in the CANSO (Civil Air Navigation Services Organisation) Executive Summit 2023 within the inaugural Airspace World event in Geneva, Switzerland.

The aim of the event, which brought together top leaders, influencers and experts from the aviation industry, is to help Air Traffic Management (ATM) leaders from around the world move the agenda forward on some of aviation industry’s most pressing issues.

The Summit presented a global picture of what’s going on in aviation industry and how to integrate all airspace users quickly.

President of ICAO Council Salvatore Sciacchitano, Director General of IATA Willie Walsh and CANSO Director General Simon Hocquard made remarks at the event.

The Summit also included a panel discussion to look at the pathways to fully integrated skies.
