Azerbaijan attends ministerial conference on sustainable growth in Austria

Baku, September 27 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfaz Garayev has participated in the Ministers` conference entitled “Caucasus and Central Asia - Promoting sustainable growth in times of global economic challenges” in Vienna, Austria. 

Garayev delivered a report on reforms in Azerbaijan`s tourism sphere. He also met Austria`s Economics, Family and Youth Minister Reinhold Mitterlehner.

"CCA" is short for a region with high economic potential and strategic significance as an interface between Europe and Asia. Members of governments, high ranking representatives of national, European and international organizations and institutions as well as the business sector got together in order to devise and exchange ideas for sustainable growth and to discuss future initiatives.

Three subsequent panels focusing on trade and investment, on energy and on tourism respectively, provide a forum to point out possibilities and perspectives, and to identify a response to the challenges of globalization in politics and the economy.
