Azerbaijan joins autumn session of CIS Youth Inter-parliamentary Assembly

An Azerbaijani delegation comprised of the parliament members, representatives of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Azerbaijan Student Youth Organizations Union have participated n the autumn session of the CIS Youth Inter-Parliamentary Assembly in St. Petersburg. The agenda included several events on topical youth issues, meetings with representatives of political, public, scientific and business organizations of St. Petersburg. The session also featured discussions on "The Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 in the history of CIS peoples and the youth of the 21st century". The discussions also revolved around the youth initiatives and legislative mechanisms for their implementation.
CIS Youth Inter-parliamentary Assembly was established by CIS Inter-parliamentary Assembly Board in 2012. The main purpose of this organization is to involve young parliamentarians and leaders of youth movements in the process of development of cooperation between the CIS states.
