Azerbaijan to host International Development triathlon program

Azerbaijani Triathlon enters a new phase of development. The first certified training will be co-organized by International (ITU) and the European Union (ETU) of triathlon in Baku. The workshop will be led by ETU coach, Coordinator for the development of ITU Milos Petelin from Slovenia.

The Azerbaijani triathlon took a solid niche in the international arena with the success of the first team and juniors. Obviously, the development of the discipline comes in breadth and Azerbaijan Triathlon Federation needs qualified specialists to implement further necessary tasks.

The event will take place on the basis of “Aquatic Palace” and bring together coaches and athletes of the national team of Azerbaijan. The training will include theoretical and practical lessons and discuss the regulation of various competitions, possible changes in the rules, nuances of athletes crossing the transit zones and a number of other professional aspects. The workshop will also focus on various situations in swimming, cycling or running.

The participants will be awarded international certificates.
