Azerbaijani Ambassador to Spain presents credentials to Co-Prince of Andorra

Baku, November 9, AZERTAC

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to Spain Anar Maharramov has presented his credentials to Bishop of Urgell, a Roman Catholic diocese, Co-Prince of Andorra Joan Enric Vives Sicilia.

The Co-Prince of Andorra wished the Ambassador successes in his future activities.

The Ambassador conveyed greetings of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to Joan Enric Vives Sicilia.

Joan Enric Vives Sicilia thanked for the greetings of President Ilham Aliyev, and asked the Ambassador to extend his greetings to the head of the state.

The Ambassador spoke of the successful foreign and internal policy carried out by President Ilham Aliyev in the country and gave detailed information about the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and the last tensions on the frontline in April, 2016.

Joan Enric Vives Sicilia expressed hope that the dispute would be solved soon.

They also discussed the current state of the bilateral ties, and other issues of mutual interest.
