Azerbaijani FM meets with his Ukrainian counterpart

As part of his working visit to the United Kingdom, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov has met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba.
The meeting focused on current issues of the agenda of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the two countries, the situation in Ukraine and post-conflict efforts in the region.
Addressing the meeting, Minister Jeyhun Bayramov hailed important achievements made in expanding bilateral and multilateral cooperation in various fields, including political, economic, cultural, humanitarian ones, during the past years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Ukraine. The minister said that Azerbaijan always supported Ukraine's territorial integrity and sovereignty and will continue its humanitarian assistance in connection with the crisis in Ukraine.
Azerbaijani minister also gave detailed information about the current situation in the region, the peace efforts of Azerbaijan in the post-conflict period, the steps taken towards the normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, and the current challenges.
In turn, Dmytro Kuleba expressed satisfaction with the bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Ukraine, stressing the role of intensive contacts between the leaders of the two countries in this direction.
The meeting also discussed other issues of mutual interest.
