Azerbaijani Minister of Emergency Situations visits Belgium and Netherlands

Azerbaijani Minister of Emergency Situations Kamaladdin Heydarov has paid a visit to the Netherlands and Belgium.

The Minister met Minister of Infrastructure and the Environment Melanie Melanie Schultz van Haegen.

They applauded steadily development of relations between the two countries in the relevant field.

Then Minister then visited the headquarters of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) in Brussels.

As part of the visit, Mr. Heydarov has met NATO official representative for Caucasus and Asia James Appaturay, NATO Assistant Secretary General for Operations Stephen Evans, Deputy Secretary-General Alexander Vershbow.

They stressed “Azerbaijan is a reliable partner for NATO”. The sides also praised current relations between the relevant structures of NATO and the Ministry.

Minister Kamaladdin Heydarov stressed the importance of cooperation with NATO within the civil emergency planning for the Ministry of the Emergency Situations.
