Brussels, June 21 (AZERTAC). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has met European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso in Brussels.

They praised the development of relations between Azerbaijan and the European Commission.

They said there was good potential for expanding the bilateral cooperation in the economic and energy sectors.

The Azerbaijani leader and the President of the European Commission also discussed prospects for developing the relations between the country and the organization.
