Prague, April 6 (AZERTAC). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today met here Czech Prime Minister Petr Necas.

The Prime Minister welcomed the Azerbaijani leader.

They posed for photographs.

Prime Minister Necas and President Aliyev viewed a panoramic view of Prague.

Then President Ilham Aliyev signed the Czech Prime Minister`s Guest book.

The importance of President Ilham Aliyev`s state visit in terms of development of bilateral ties between Azerbaijan and Czechia was stressed during the meeting. They said meetings held during the Azerbaijani President`s state visit to Czechia would contribute to elevating cooperative relations between the two countries to a strategic level.

The sides also underlined the necessity of developing economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Czechia, adding good potential exists for this.
