Azerbaijani corner launched at Jewish Alsatian Museum in Bouxwiller

A corner of Azerbaijan has been launched at the Jewish Alsatian Museum in Bouxwiller, France, by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and local "Valiske" Association.
Mayor of Bouxwiller Alain Janus and director of "Valiske" Association, organizer of the corner Andre Kosmicki attended the opening ceremony.
The corner features exhibits reflecting Kosmicki`s impressions from his Azerbaijan trip.
Kosmicki said: "I am a friend of Azerbaijan. I discovered this country when I was a kid. I was very little when I visited Azerbaijan with my parents. I visited have visited the country several times. I felt in love with this country, its people and culture. I like Azerbaijani culture very much."
Addressing the event, chairman of Azerbaijan State Committee on Religious Organizations Mubariz Gurbanli said tolerance has been one of the values of Azerbaijani people for centuries. He highlighted the Azerbaijani government`s and President Ilham Aliyev`s sensitive attitude to all religious communities existing in the country.
He also spoke of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation`s important role in popularizing such values in the world, including in France.
"Bringing these multicultural values to the state level is part of a vital policy pursued by President Ilham Aliyev," he added.
Mayor of Bouxwiller Janus hailed Azerbaijan`s accomplishments in the field of tolerance, saying "this can be an example to everyone".
