Azerbaijani delegation joins march to celebrate Bursa as Cultural Capital of Turkic World 2022

A delegation led by Azerbaijan’s Minister of Culture Anar Karimov has joined a march to celebrate the declaration of the ancient Turkish city of Bursa as Cultural Capital of the Turkic World 2022.

The march, accompanied by the Turkish national songs, continued from the Bursa city center to the square on which the main office of the cultural capital located. The Azerbaijani dance group also joined the march.

The march was followed by an event on the occasion of celebrating Bursa as the Cultural Capital of the Turkic World.

Speaking at the event, Mayor of Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Alinur Aktas emphasized the importance of holding such events in terms of promoting the cultural heritage of Turkic-speaking peoples, as well as further developing relations between the Turkic-speaking peoples in the fields of culture and art.

Aktas also said that Azerbaijan’s cultural capital of Shusha will be the Cultural Capital of the Turkic World in 2023.
