    Azerbaijani peacekeeper awarded UN Medal

    An Azerbaijani peacekeeper serving in South Sudan has been awarded the United Nations Medal.

    “Congratulations to Azerbaijani peacekeeper, Major Ilkin Khalilov - awardee of the United Nations Medal in recognition of the duties and the service of peace as a Military Member of the UN Mission in South Sudan,” the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the United Nations said on Twitter.
