Azerbaijan`s Prime Minister Ali Asadov has met with President of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Council Salvatore Sciacchitano.

The sides exchanged views on the development of civil aviation in Azerbaijan and the work done in the field of aviation safety.

They hailed the fact that aviation safety standards in Azerbaijan had been brought into compliance with the ICAO standards.

The Prime Minister underlined that the airports put into operation in the liberated territories were included in the catalog of ICAO international location indicators. Ali Asadov emphasized the importance of the construction of international airports in these regions in terms of developing tourism.
