Baku, July 15 (AZERTAC). President Ilham Aliyev has said Azerbaijan`s agricultural sector has seen a 10.4 per cent growth in the first half of 2012, a record high against previous years.
The Head of State spoke to a Cabinet meeting, which he chaired to discuss the results of the country`s socio-economic development in the first half of 2012 and further priorities.
“We forecast this figure, because we have been attaching a particular stress to developing agriculture, carrying out reforms and increasing investment in the sector.”
The President said the country`s agriculture would continue being developed.
