Azerbaijan`s first lady meets secretary general of French Presidential Administration

Azerbaijan`s first lady Mehriban Aliyeva has met with secretary-general of the Presidential Administration of France Jean-Pierre Jouyet.
The sides stressed that the bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and France were successfully developing in all fields, and that the ties have great potential. They also noted the necessity for developing cooperation between the regions of the two countries, and underlined the importance of the Azerbaijan-France Forum to be held next November in Azerbaijan`s Ganca city.
The parties have also touched upon the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Azerbaijan`s first lady Mehriban Aliyeva hailed France`s efforts towards settlement of the conflict, and stressed the importance of the settlement of the dispute within the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
Secretary-general of the Presidential Administration of France Jean-Pierre Jouyet said he supported the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict under the international legal norms, and noted as co-chair France would continue efforts towards the settlement of the dispute.
Azerbaijani first lady Mehriban Aliyeva`s role in the France-Azerbaijan cooperation, as well as her activities as head of the interparliamentary friendship group and as the president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation were stressed at the meeting.
