Azerbaijan`s tourism to be promoted in Gulf states
Baku, April 29 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s Culture and Tourism Ministry, Azerbaijan Tourism Association and have signed a tripartite agreement on mutual cooperation.
The agreement was signed by Azerbaijan culture and tourism minister Abulfaz Garayev and head of the Association Nahid Bagirov from Azerbaijani side and head of Atlantis Holidays Rashid Al Nuri.
The document, signed as part of the AITF 2011-10th International Exhibition `Tourism and Traveling`, envisages the promotion of Azerbaijan`s tourism potential in the Persian Gulf states.
“Promoting tourism potential of Azerbaijan in different countries is very useful for us,” Garayev said during the signing ceremony.
“We take part in exhibitions held there every year but there is a need for a broader promotion of the tourism potential of Azerbaijan.”
According to him, Atlantis Holiday will become the first ever official representative of Azerbaijani tourism industry in the Persian Gulf region.
“A broader program that will envisage promotion of our tourism industry and conduction of fairs will be implemented in 2012,” the minister said.
He also noted that the activity of Atlantis Holiday, aimed at spreading information about Azerbaijan, is to be presented in Baku in autumn of this year.
