BP AWARDED LOCAL PLANTS
“Bearing in mind the high criticality of diesel tanks and great potential for oil spills,” said BP representative Rustam Alekperov, “it was requested that the inspection be performed urgently. They were, in turn, successfully implemented by Baki Fahlasi.’’
“The Baki Fahlasi Machine-Building Plant was founded in 1900 as small workshops used exclusively for repairing oil field equipment,” said Islam Feyziyev, director of the company. “Over the last 100 years, the plant has come a long way, progressing from small workshops with limited recourse to a large-scale enterprise making an immense contribution to the economy of Azerbaijan.”
Nowadays, the plant specializes in the development and production of equipment for the oil-chemical and oil-gas industry, produces spare parts, and renders other various services. The plant’s major products include rocker machines, heat exchangers with a floating head, motor reducers, mechanized drives for water wells, balloon carriers, valves, pressure regulators for balloons with liquefied gas, trucks for liquefied hydrocarbon gas transportation, balloons for liquefied hydrocarbon gas, clamps for encapsulating water pipelines, borehole complexes and wheelchairs.
Additionally, over the last year, the plant has worked as a contractor for CCIC, auto workshop manufacturing with all the equipment essential for KAMAZ and URAL heavy vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers for transporting wagon houses, for UPEC scoop manufacturing for pipe-transportation, and for iron planking manufacturing for pipe trucks.
