BP GETS 5bn LOAN

Baku, August 19 (AZERTAC). The world`s global energy company, BP, will receive two long-term loans at the amount of 5 billion USD from Royal Bank of Scotland, Societe Generale, BNP Paribas and Standard Chartered banks. Some 2 billion USD of this sum will be provided by Royal Bank of Scotland and Societe Generale, the rest will be given by BNP Paribas and Standard Chartered. The loan should be paid off before June 30, 2015. BP estimates that 2 billion will be spent for the exploitation of Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli oil field.
