BP PLANS TO PRODUCE 458,000 BARRELS OF OIL PER DAY AVERAGE FROM CHIRAG, CA AND WA PLATFORMS THIS YEAR

BP Azerbaijan’s current forecast for 2006 is that it would deliver 458,000 barrels per day average for the full year, with 141,000 barrels of oil per day average produced from Chirag, 226,000 barrels from Central Azeri, 81,000 barrels from West Azeri and 10,000 barrels from the newly commissioned East Azeri platform, press service of the company said.

During the first three quarters of this year the company produced 448,000 barrels per day average from the three platforms in total (the average daily production for the third quarter alone was 523,000 barrels).
