BRITISH GOVERNMENT SUPPORTS ALLOCATION OF FUNDS FOR BTC PROJECT

According to “Guardian” referring to the State Minister Mice O’Brien, the British government announced on December17 that it supported the allocation of 100 mln pound sterling to complete construction of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline. Related special statement had been signed before by Parliament Members.
The Minister told the newspaper the project which President George W. Bush and Prime-Minister Toni Blair attach great significance, had been approved by Departments for Ecology and International Development. According to him, there will be no obstacles for the pipeline construction.
