Baku, April 23, AZERTAC

Baku City Circuit (BCC), in collaboration with Baku Marshals Club, has today organized a workshop for local media representatives.

The workshop’s main goal is to inform the journalists about the general Formula 1 regulations, providing them with necessary practical and theoretical knowledge.

The workshop, organized in the Baku Marshals Training Baku center located in Baku European Games Park, included theoretical, as well as practical sessions followed by entertainment.

The journalists got the chance to learn more about the Formula 1 cars, their technical specifications, race management and other important features regarding the F1 races, as they took part in the theoretical session conducted by professional marshals. They also attended the Q&A session at the end of the workshop.

During the practical session, which was focused on race management, the journalists familiarize themselves with the real-time application of the race regulations, along with some hands-on activities.

At the end of the event, Azerbaijan Automobile Federation (AAF) organized a drift show with Volkicar automobiles and mini race simulations followed by a luxury car showcase.

The upcoming Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix will take place on June 10-12, 2022. The Baku race is the 8th round of the current Formula 1 season, standing among the leading city races such as Monaco, Miami and Singapore.
