Baku Jazz Festival joins Europe Jazz Network

Baku Jazz Festival has become a member of the Europe Jazz Network.

Baku Jazz Festival is a large-scaled project organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan Culture Foundation and Jazz Dunyasi magazine. Baku Jazz Festival has been held since 2005 and has proved itself as one of the biggest events of Azerbaijan for more than a decade. The event is held in 4 concert stations and in the open air station of Baku. Baku Jazz Festival is a forum and musical festival including education (seminars, master classes), competition ("Best Jazz Performer"), a "Kids jazz day", art and photo exhibitions, jam sessions and jazz concerts with the participation of best performers of the world of jazz.

Europe Jazz Network (EJN) is a Europe-wide association of producers, presenters and supporting organisations who specialise in creative music, contemporary jazz and improvised music created from a distinctly European perspective.

Baku Jazz Festival is the first EJN member from Azerbaijan. EJN has 115 members from 34 countries.
