Baku State University, Uzbekistan State Institute of Art and Culture ink partnership agreement

The Baku State University (BSU) and Uzbekistan State Institute of Arts and Culture (UzSIAC) have signed a partnership agreement.

The document was inked by BSU and UzSIAC rectors, Elchin Babayev and Eldor Shermanov, respectively.

Touching upon the bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, Babayev noted that “Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan enjoy high-level fraternal relations”, highlighting an important role of scientific and education relations in deepening relations between the Turkic-speaking countries.

For his part, rector Eldor Shermanov expressed confidence “the agreement will contribute to further enhancing the educational cooperation between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan”.

The agreement provides for the exchange of bachelors, masters, researchers and academic staff and conducting of joint researches, teaching activities and trainings.
